Who We Are
The Build it NC Foundation is a North Carolina based nonprofit focused on construction workforce development. Its goal is to address the skilled labor shortage in the building trades across the state.
What We Do
Training pathways: Connects people with apprenticeships, certifications, and hands-on training programs.
Career awareness: Introduces students (especially middle and high school) to careers in construction.
Outreach programs: Promotes skilled trades as a viable, well-paying alternative to traditional college paths.
Industry partnerships: Works with contractors, trade associations, and educators to align training with real job needs.
